Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 large cloves garlic, finely minced

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)

1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

1 teaspoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation:

    - Start by patting the steak bites dry with paper towels. This helps obtain a nice sear.

      - Season the steak pieces generously with salt and black pepper.

        Sear the Steak:

          - In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak bites in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

            - Sear the steak bites for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are brown and cooked to your desired doneness. For medium-rare, aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C). Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside.

              Make the Garlic Butter:

                - In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Allow it to melt, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan for extra flavor.

                  - Add the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme to the melted butter. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until the garlic is golden, making sure not to burn it.

                    Combine and Serve:

                      - Return the seared steak bites back into the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss gently to coat the steak evenly.

                        - Allow the steak bites to simmer in the garlic butter for an additional minute.

                          - Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness.

                            Enjoy:

                              - Serve the garlic butter steak bites hot, either on their own or with a side of crusty bread to soak up that delicious garlic butter sauce! They can also be served over rice or mashed potatoes for a heartier meal.
