Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 whole wheat or regular pita wraps

1 cup romaine lettuce, shredded

1 medium cucumber, diced

1 tomato, diced

1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

Fresh parsley, for garnish

For the Tzatziki Sauce:

1 cup Greek yogurt

1/2 cucumber, grated and drained

1 garlic clove, minced

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, mix olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat them in the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes (or refrigerate for up to 2 hours for extra flavor).

Cook the Chicken: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Once cooked, remove from heat and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.

Make the Tzatziki Sauce: In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, fresh dill, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined. Adjust salt and seasonings to taste, and let it chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the wraps.

Assemble the Wraps: Lay out each pita bread or wrap on a flat surface. Spread a generous amount of tzatziki sauce on each wrap. Place a handful of shredded romaine lettuce, sliced chicken, diced cucumber, diced tomato, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese on top.

Wrap It Up: Carefully fold the sides of the pita over the filling, then roll from the bottom up to create a wrap. Repeat with the remaining pita breads and ingredients.

Serve: Cut the wraps in half either diagonally or straight down the middle. Garnish with fresh parsley for an extra splash of color and flavor. Serve with any leftover tzatziki sauce on the side for dipping.
