Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey for a leaner option)

1 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup ketchup

1 large egg

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Slider buns (mini burger buns)

Lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles for topping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Make the Meatloaf Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, ketchup, egg, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined; be careful not to overmix.

Shape the Meatloaf: Form the meat mixture into a rectangular shape, about 1 inch thick for easy slider portions. Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Prepare the Maple Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup and Dijon mustard until smooth. Set aside.

Bake the Meatloaf: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes.

Glaze the Meatloaf: After 30 minutes of baking, remove the meatloaf from the oven and brush the maple glaze evenly over the top. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Slice and Assemble: Once the meatloaf is done baking, let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into small squares (about 2 inches in size) to fit the slider buns.

Build Your Sliders: Take a slider bun, add a slice of the glazed meatloaf, and top with fresh lettuce, a slice of tomato, and pickles. Repeat with the remaining buns and meatloaf pieces.

Serve & Enjoy: Arrange the sliders on a platter and serve warm. Enjoy your quick and delicious maple glazed meatloaf sliders!
