1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup vegetable oil

3 large eggs

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

1/3 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
