Peach Iced Green Tea

4 cups water

4 green tea bags (preferably organic)

2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

1/4 cup honey (or to taste)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions
 

Boil the Water: In a medium saucepan, bring the 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat.

    Steep the Tea: Add the green tea bags to the hot water. Allow them to steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

      Prepare the Peaches: While the tea is steeping, take the sliced peaches and place them in a blender. Blend until smooth for about 30 seconds, then strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove the pulp, if desired (this step is optional for a more textured drink).

        Combine the Ingredients: Once the tea has steeped, remove the tea bags. Stir in the peach puree, honey, and lemon juice into the hot tea until everything is well combined.

          Chill the Tea: Allow the tea mixture to cool at room temperature for a few minutes, then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.

            Serve: Fill a glass with ice cubes, pour the chilled peach green tea over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
