Ingredients

2 large ripe peaches, sliced thin

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp brown sugar (optional)

1 pre-made flatbread or naan

1/2 cup ricotta cheese

2 tbsp honey, plus more for drizzling

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped (or other herbs of choice)

Sea salt, to taste

Balsamic glaze (for drizzling, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Peaches: In a mixing bowl, toss the sliced peaches with olive oil, cinnamon, and brown sugar, if desired. Allow to marinate for about 10 minutes.

Prepare the Flatbread: Place the flatbread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the ricotta cheese evenly over the surface of the flatbread.

Add the Peaches: Arrange the marinated peach slices over the ricotta cheese in a decorative pattern.

Bake: Transfer the flatbread to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are crispy and the peaches are slightly caramelized.

Finish and Serve: Remove from the oven and drizzle the flatbread with honey and balsamic glaze, if using. Sprinkle the chopped basil leaves on top and season with a pinch of sea salt.

Slice and Enjoy: Cut the flatbread into slices and serve warm. Enjoy this sweet and savory treat as an appetizer or a light dessert!
