Ingredients

12 oz fettuccine pasta

4 cups chicken or vegetable broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Pan: In a large, deep skillet or a wide saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.

Add Broth and Pasta: Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a light simmer. Carefully add the uncooked fettuccine, ensuring the noodles are submerged in the broth.

Cook the Pasta: Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, stirring occasionally for about 10-12 minutes, until al dente and most of the broth has been absorbed.

Create the Sauce: Reduce the heat to low. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a little more broth or cream to reach your desired consistency.

Season: Taste and season with salt and black pepper as needed. Continue to stir for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce is heated through.

Serve: Remove from heat and let it sit for a minute. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your creamy dream!
