Ingredients

2 ripe bananas, sliced

1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup crushed vanilla wafers

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Pudding: In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until well combined. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to thicken.

Whip the Cream: In another bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract on medium speed until soft peaks form. This should take around 3-5 minutes.

Combine Mixtures: Gently fold the whipped cream into the prepared pudding mixture until fully incorporated and smooth.

Layer the Cups: In serving cups or small jars, start by adding a layer of crushed vanilla wafers at the bottom. Then, add a layer of banana slices followed by a generous dollop of the pudding mixture. Repeat this layering until the cups are nearly full, finishing with the pudding layer on top.

Chill and Serve: Cover the cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing the flavors to meld. Just before serving, sprinkle the top with a pinch of ground cinnamon (if desired) and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.

Enjoy: Serve chilled and enjoy this delightful dessert with friends and family!
