Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or turkey for a leaner option)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 head of butter lettuce (or romaine), leaves separated

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup pickles, sliced

Ketchup and mustard, for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined but be careful not to overwork the meat.

Form the Patties: With your hands, form small patties about the size of a golf ball. You should get approximately 12 mini patties.

Cook the Patties: Heat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Place the mini patties on the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. In the last minute of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top of the patties and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.

Prepare the Lettuce Wraps: While the patties are cooking, prepare your butter lettuce leaves by rinsing and drying them gently. These will serve as your “buns.”

Assemble the Wraps: Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet. On each lettuce leaf, place one mini cheeseburger patty, followed by a few halved cherry tomatoes and pickle slices.

Add Condiments: Drizzle a bit of ketchup and mustard over the top of each patty, adding as much or as little as you prefer.

Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley over the assembled bites for a pop of color. Serve immediately while warm and enjoy your guilt-free mini cheeseburger bites!
