Ingredients

4 cups of water

4 black tea bags (or 4 teaspoons of loose black tea)

1 ripe mango, peeled and diced

2-3 ripe passionfruits, halved and pulp scooped out

1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Lime slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Brew the Tea: In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the tea bags or loose tea. Steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on desired strength. Remove the tea bags or strain the loose tea and let it cool to room temperature.

Prepare the Fruit: While the tea is cooling, prepare the fruit. Take the diced mango and passionfruit pulp, and blend together in a blender until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any fibers and seeds, if desired, creating a smooth fruit puree.

Mix the Tea: In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, fruit puree, sugar, and lime juice. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Chill: Refrigerate the mango passionfruit tea for at least 1-2 hours to chill completely.

Serve: To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mango passionfruit iced tea over the ice. Stir gently to combine.

Garnish: Add a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of lime to each glass for an extra touch of tropical flair. Enjoy your refreshing drink!
