Ingredients

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 tablespoon matcha green tea powder

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 cup fresh raspberries (plus extra for garnish)

1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for added texture and nutrition)

Ice cubes

Mint leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Raspberry Puree: In a blender, combine the fresh raspberries and honey or maple syrup. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds, then set aside.

Mix the Matcha: In a small bowl, whisk the matcha green tea powder with 2 tablespoons of hot water (not boiling) until it becomes a smooth paste. This helps to avoid clumps in your drink.

Combine the Milk: In a separate bowl or pitcher, combine the unsweetened almond milk and the prepared matcha mixture. Stir well to ensure a uniform consistency.

Add Chia Seeds: If you're using chia seeds, mix them into the matcha milk and allow them to sit for about 5 minutes to absorb some liquid and thicken slightly.

Assemble the Latte: Fill a glass with ice cubes. Pour the raspberry puree over the ice, and then gently pour the matcha milk on top, creating a beautiful layered effect.

Garnish and Serve: Garnish with additional raspberries and a sprig of fresh mint for a pop of color. Stir gently before drinking to mix the layers if desired.
