Ingredients

1 pound of fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/3 cup honey

1-2 tablespoons sriracha or your favorite hot sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Fresh cilantro or green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon:

    - Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, approximately 1-inch pieces.

      Marinate:

        - In a large mixing bowl, drizzle the olive oil over the salmon cubes.

          - Sprinkle with sea salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.

            - Gently toss to ensure every piece is well-coated. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.

              Make the Hot Honey Sauce:

                - In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the honey, sriracha (or hot sauce), and fresh lime juice.

                  - Stir continuously until the mixture is well combined and warmed through, about 2-3 minutes. Do not let it boil. Remove from heat and set aside.

                    Cook the Salmon:

                      - Preheat a large non-stick skillet or grill over medium-high heat.

                        - Add the marinated salmon cubes to the pan in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and flaky inside.

                          - Optionally, you can baste the salmon with some of the hot honey sauce as it cooks for extra flavor.

                            Glaze:

                              - Once the salmon bites are cooked, pour the remaining hot honey sauce over the top, gently tossing to coat the bites evenly in sauce.

                                Serve:

                                  - Transfer to a serving platter.

                                    - Garnish with chopped cilantro or green onions and serve with lime wedges on the side.
