Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup snap peas

1 cup baby carrots

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger (if using) until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the honey garlic marinade over them. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 1 hour for deeper flavor.

Cook the Salmon: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Remove salmon from marinade (reserve the marinade) and season with salt and pepper. Place salmon skin-side down in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy.

Glaze the Salmon: Flip the fillets over carefully, then pour the reserved marinade over the salmon. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Steam the Vegetables: While the salmon is baking, bring a small pot of water to a boil, then place a steamer basket over it. Add broccoli, snap peas, and baby carrots to the basket. Cover and steam for about 5-7 minutes or until vegetables are tender but still bright and crisp. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve: Once the salmon is done, remove from the oven and drizzle with additional glaze from the skillet if desired. Plate the salmon alongside the steamed vegetables. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top for garnish. Serve with lemon wedges for an extra zesty finish.
