Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast

1 cup warm milk (110°F or 45°C)

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tsp salt

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Additional melted butter for brushing

Instructions

Activate Yeast: In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast on top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until frothy.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.

Combine Wet Ingredients: Once the yeast is activated, add it to the flour mixture along with the melted butter and minced garlic. Stir until a dough starts to form.

Knead the Dough: On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Prepare Filling: In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Shape the Dough: After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into small pieces (about the size of a golf ball). Roll each piece into a ball and flatten slightly.

Stuff the Balls: Place a generous teaspoon of the cheese filling into the center of each flattened dough ball. Pinch the edges to seal and form a ball again.

Arrange the Dough Balls: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a greased bundt pan or round baking dish, arrange the stuffed dough balls closely together.

Brush with Butter: Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle any remaining cheese filling on top.

Second Rise: Cover the pan with a cloth and let it rise for another 30 minutes.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Serve: Let the pull-apart bread cool for 5 minutes. Carefully remove from the pan and serve warm, with additional melted butter on the side for dipping.
