Ingredients

4 ears of fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Prepare the Corn: Start by husking the corn and removing all of the silk. Rinse the ears under cold water and pat them dry with a towel.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F/200°C).

Grill the Corn: Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the corn is tender and has char marks all around.

Add the Garlic Butter: Once the corn is grilled to your satisfaction, brush each ear generously with the garlic butter mixture. Make sure to get it into the kernels for maximum flavor!

Sprinkle with Parmesan: After applying the garlic butter, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the corn while it's still hot, allowing the cheese to melt slightly and adhere to the butter.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the corn from the grill and transfer it to a serving platter. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lime wedges on the side. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the corn just before eating for a zesty kick.
