1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour (heat treated)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

For the Muffin Bites:

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

For Serving (optional):

Whipped cream

Extra chocolate chips

Fresh berries

Instructions

Prepare the Cookie Dough Filling:

    - In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until creamy.

      - Mix in the vanilla extract. Gradually stir in the heat-treated flour and salt until a dough forms.

        - Fold in the mini chocolate chips. Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes while you prepare the muffin mixture.

          Make the Muffin Batter:

            - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin tin with paper liners or grease it lightly.

              - In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, granulated sugar, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract until well combined.

                - In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

                  - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

                    Assemble the Muffin Bites:

                      - Spoon a small amount of muffin batter into each mini muffin cup, filling it about halfway.

                        - Take the chilled cookie dough and form small balls (about 1 teaspoon each). Place one cookie dough ball on top of the muffin batter in each cup.

                          - Top the cookie dough with a little more muffin batter, just enough to cover it.

                            Bake:

                              - Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the muffins are golden on the edges and a toothpick inserted into the muffin (not touching the dough) comes out clean.

                                - Allow the muffin bites to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Freeze (optional for that froyo texture):

                                    - Once cool, transfer the muffin bites to an airtight container and freeze for at least 1 hour. This step will give you a Frozen Yogurt-like texture!

                                      Serve:

                                        - Serve the Frozen Yogurt Cookie Dough Muffin Bites chilled, topped with whipped cream, extra chocolate chips, or fresh berries, if desired.
