Ingredients

2 cups vanilla yogurt (Greek or regular)

1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (like Nutella)

1/4 cup finely crushed hazelnuts

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for added sweetness)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

Mini chocolate chips (for topping, optional)

Instructions

Mix the Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the vanilla yogurt, chocolate hazelnut spread, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and sea salt. Use a whisk or a spatula to stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Prepare the Molds: Take a silicone coin-shaped mold or any other small round molds that can handle freezing. Lightly grease them with non-stick spray or olive oil to make removal easier.

Fill the Molds: Pour the yogurt mixture into the molds, filling each cavity about three-quarters full, leaving a bit of space at the top.

Add Crunch: Sprinkle the finely crushed hazelnuts evenly over the top of each filled mold. You can tap them down gently to ensure they stick into the mixture.

Top it Off (Optional): If you love an extra chocolatey kick, sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top of each portion before freezing.

Freeze: Carefully place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4-6 hours or until solid.

Unmold the Coins: Once frozen, remove the molds from the freezer. To release the yogurt coins, gently push from the bottom of each mold or twist them lightly.

Serve: Serve immediately or store the coins in an airtight container in the freezer for a cold treat at any time. Enjoy these delightful frozen yogurt chocolate hazelnut coins as a refreshing dessert or snack!
