Ingredients

2 cups plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup mini chocolate chips

1/2 cup crushed nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, or pecans) - optional

A pinch of sea salt

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (for a chocolatey twist, optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix until smooth and well combined. If you’re adding cocoa powder for a chocolatey version, blend it in here for a richer flavor.

Add the Mix-Ins: Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and crushed nuts (if using) into the yogurt mixture. Make sure they’re evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Pour Into a Pan: Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, allowing some excess to hang over the edges for easy removal later. Pour the yogurt mixture into the prepared dish and spread it evenly with a spatula.

Freeze: Place the dish in the freezer and allow the mixture to freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid. For best results, let it freeze overnight.

Cut and Serve: Once fully frozen, remove the dish from the freezer and carefully lift the block of frozen yogurt out using the parchment paper. Place it on a cutting board and cut it into bars or squares as desired.

Store: Return any uneaten bars to the freezer in an airtight container, separating layers with pieces of parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Enjoy: Serve immediately and relish the creamy, chocolatey goodness!
