Ingredients

2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 jalapeño pepper, seeds removed and minced (optional for heat)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Juice of 2 limes

Salt to taste

Freshly cracked black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

Prepare the Mangoes: Begin by peeling the mangoes, removing the pit, and dicing the flesh into small cubes.

Chop Other Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, finely chop the red onion, red bell pepper, and jalapeño (if using). Add them to the bowl with the mango.

Add Cilantro and Lime: Chop the fresh cilantro and add it in. Squeeze the juice of 2 limes over the mixture for a zesty kick.

Season to Taste: Sprinkle in salt and freshly cracked black pepper. If you prefer a sweeter salsa, add the teaspoon of honey.

Mix Thoroughly: Gently combine all ingredients without mashing the mango for a vibrant texture. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

Let it Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and let the salsa sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. This allows the flavors to meld and intensify.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve your Fresh Mango Salsa with tortilla chips, on tacos, or as a topping for grilled meats or fish. Enjoy the burst of tropical flavors!
