Ingredients

2 large cooked chicken breasts, sliced

4 whole wheat tortillas

1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved

1 large ripe tomato, sliced

2 cups fresh basil leaves

2 tablespoons balsamic glaze

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Start by slicing the cooked chicken breasts into thin strips. Halve the mozzarella balls and slice the tomato into medium-thick rounds. Wash and dry the fresh basil leaves.

Warm the Tortillas: Gently warm the whole wheat tortillas on a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side, just until pliable. You can also microwave them for about 10-15 seconds.

Assemble the Wraps: Lay a warm tortilla flat on a clean surface. On the lower third of the tortilla, layer a few pieces of sliced chicken, some mozzarella balls, and slices of tomato.

Add Freshness: Lay a generous handful of fresh basil leaves over the top of the chicken and tomatoes. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and a touch of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Wrap it Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll the bottom up over the filling, tucking it tightly as you go. Continue rolling to the end, and you can secure it with a toothpick if desired.

Serve: Repeat the process for the remaining tortillas and ingredients. Slice the wraps in half diagonally, and serve immediately, or wrap them in foil for a convenient on-the-go meal.
