Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Zest of 1 lemon

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Lemon slices (for garnish)

Fresh parsley or dill (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish with a drizzle of olive oil or a spray of non-stick cooking spray to prevent the salmon from sticking.

Mix the Lemon Butter Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well incorporated.

Place the Salmon: Arrange the salmon fillets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down (if applicable).

Add the Lemon Butter: Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh parsley or dill if desired. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
