1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko is recommended for extra crunch)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Optional: Dipping sauces (ketchup, honey mustard, or ranch)

Prepare the Breading Station: Set up a three-bowl assembly line. In the first bowl, place the all-purpose flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. In the second bowl, beat the eggs until well combined. In the third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.

    Coat the Chicken: Take each piece of chicken and coat it in the flour mixture, shaking off the excess. Then dip it in the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, roll the chicken in the breadcrumbs until fully coated. Place the coated nuggets on a plate or baking sheet.

      Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to preheat at 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

        Spray the Nuggets: Once preheated, arrange the chicken nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren't overcrowded. Lightly spray the nuggets with cooking spray or olive oil spray for that golden crunch.

          Air Fry the Nuggets: Cook the chicken nuggets in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes. After the 10 minutes, flip the nuggets and spray them again with cooking spray. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown, crispy, and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
