Ingredients
  

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 cups broccoli florets

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 onion, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

    Cook the Onions and Garlic: In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.

      Add Broccoli: Stir in the broccoli florets and pour in the chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, cover the skillet, and cook for about 5 minutes or until the broccoli is tender.

        Make the Creamy Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy. Return the chicken to the skillet, mixing well to coat everything in the sauce.

          Season and Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
