Ingredients

2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)

1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup frozen peas (thawed)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 sleeve (about 8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury Grands)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, thawed peas, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Stir until everything is evenly coated and mixed.

Add the Chicken Mixture: Pour the chicken and Alfredo mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Prepare the Biscuits: Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into quarters. You can do this by using kitchen scissors or a knife.

Top with Biscuits: Place the biscuit pieces over the chicken Alfredo mixture, ensuring they are spaced out evenly. They will expand as they bake, so don’t worry if they don’t cover every inch.

Add the Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese generously over the biscuit pieces.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and fully cooked, and the cheese is bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color before serving.

Enjoy! Serve this creamy, comforting dish hot, ideally accompanied by a fresh side salad or some steamed vegetables.
