2 cups cooked white or brown rice

2 cups fresh broccoli florets (or 1 package frozen broccoli)

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup cream of mushroom soup (or homemade)

1 cup milk (or unsweetened plant milk)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt (to taste)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for topping)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Prepare Broccoli: If using fresh broccoli, steam or blanch the florets in boiling water for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and set aside. If using frozen broccoli, simply thaw and drain excess moisture.

      Mix Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice, steamed broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
