Ingredients

12 oz jumbo pasta shells

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (15 oz) ricotta cheese

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1 ½ cups marinara sauce

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the jumbo shells according to the package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Beef Filling: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is translucent, around 3-4 minutes. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.

Mix Cheeses: In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, cream cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese (about ½ cup). Mix until smooth and well combined.

Assemble the Casserole: Spread a layer of marinara sauce (about ½ cup) in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Fill each cooked shell with the creamy cheese mixture, followed by a spoonful of the beef mixture. Place the stuffed shells in the baking dish, seam side up.

Top with Sauce and Cheese: Once all shells are filled, pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm and enjoy!
