1 cup powdered sugar

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

For the Chocolate Layer:

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: chocolate shavings or crushed peanuts for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Crust:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

      - In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix until the crumbs are well coated.

        - Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish firmly.

          - Bake for 8-10 minutes until set. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

            Make the Peanut Butter Layer:

              - In a large mixing bowl, beat together the peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

                - Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.

                  - Spread the peanut butter mixture over the cooled crust, smoothing it out with a spatula.

                    Prepare the Chocolate Layer:

                      - In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream. Stir constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.

                        - Remove from the heat and add in the vanilla extract, mixing well.

                          Assemble the Pie:

                            - Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer, spreading it evenly.

                              - Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours or until the chocolate layer is firmly set (overnight is best for optimal firmness).

                                Serve:

                                  - Before serving, garnish with chocolate shavings or crushed peanuts if desired.

                                    - Slice into wedges and enjoy the rich combination of chocolate and peanut butter in every bite!
