Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 ripe mango, diced

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1/4 cup cilantro, chopped

1 jalapeño, seeded and minced

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp cumin

1 tbsp lime juice

6 slider buns

1/2 cup creamy avocado sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Lettuce leaves for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, diced mango, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, and lime juice. Mix until well combined but do not overwork the meat.

Form the Patties: Divide the chicken mixture into six equal portions and shape each into a slider patty, approximately 3 inches in diameter.

Cook the Patties: Preheat a skillet or grill over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or a bit of oil. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and have an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Prepare the Avocado Sauce: If making homemade avocado sauce, blend together 1 ripe avocado, 1 tbsp lime juice, a pinch of salt, and a splash of water until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assemble the Sliders: Place a slider patty on the bottom half of each bun, add a dollop of creamy avocado sauce, and top with a lettuce leaf. Place the top half of the bun over it.

Serve: Enjoy your Tropical Chicken Mango Sliders immediately with extra mango salsa or avocado sauce on the side if desired.
