Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

1 cup cooked ham, diced

1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko recommended for extra crunch)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 tablespoon olive oil (for drizzling)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray or a little olive oil.

Prepare Chicken Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, diced ham, and half of the Swiss cheese (reserve the other half for topping). Mix until well incorporated.

Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Stir until smooth.

Combine: Pour the sauce over the chicken and ham mixture. Stir well to coat all ingredients with the sauce.

Layer in Casserole: Transfer the chicken mixture into the prepared casserole dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining Swiss cheese on top.

Add Breadcrumbs: In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with a drizzle of olive oil and mix until the breadcrumbs are lightly coated. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch. Serve warm and enjoy!
