Ingredients

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup diced cooked ham

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

6 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with olive oil.

Prepare Broccoli: Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for about 2-3 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Drain and immediately place them in ice water to stop the cooking process. Once cooled, drain well and set aside.

Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Combine: In the greased baking dish, scatter the blanched broccoli and diced ham evenly. Pour the egg mixture over the ham and broccoli. Then, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.

Breadcrumb Topping (Optional): If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs and a little more cheese over the top for added crunch.

Bake: Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden and bubbly.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before slicing and serving.
