Ingredients

1 cup fresh blueberries

1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

1 cup water (for syrup)

1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

4-5 cups cold water (or sparkling water for a fizzy version)

Fresh blueberries and lemon slices, for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare Blueberry-Lavender Syrup:

    - In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of fresh blueberries, 1 cup of granulated sugar, 1 cup of water, and 1 tablespoon of dried lavender.

      - Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the sugar has dissolved and the blueberries start to break down, about 5-7 minutes.

        - Once it reaches a boil, reduce heat and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it steep for 15-20 minutes to infuse the flavors.

          Strain the Syrup:

            - After steeping, strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a heatproof bowl, pressing gently to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.

              Mix Lemonade:

                - In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with the blueberry-lavender syrup. Mix well.

                  - Add 4-5 cups of cold water to the pitcher, adjusting the water to taste based on your sweetness preference. If you prefer fizzy lemonade, you can substitute sparkling water at this stage.

                    Serve:

                      - Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the blueberry lavender lemonade over the ice.

                        - Garnish each glass with fresh blueberries and lemon slices for a beautiful presentation.

                          Enjoy:

                            - Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing drink on a hot day or at a gathering with friends and family!
