Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup pickles, sliced

¼ cup diced onion

½ cup Thousand Island dressing (or special sauce)

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Warm the Tortillas: In a dry skillet or microwave, warm the flour tortillas to make them more pliable, about 15-20 seconds on each side or 30 seconds in the microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel.

Assemble the Wraps: On each tortilla, spread 1-2 tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing evenly across the surface. Then layer with ¼ of the cooked ground beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced pickles, and diced onions.

Wrap It Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it from the bottom up to encase all the fillings. Make sure to keep it snug so that everything stays inside.

Grill (Optional): If desired, place the wraps seam-side down on a grill pan over medium heat and grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crisp.

Serve: Slice the wraps in half diagonally and serve with additional Thousand Island dressing on the side for dipping.
