Ingredients

4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 lemon, zested and juiced

3 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried dill)

1/4 cup olive oil

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)

Fresh dill sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare marinade: In a medium bowl, combine minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, chopped dill, and olive oil. Whisk until well combined.

Season salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish, skin-side down. Generously season the fillets with salt and black pepper. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring each fillet is coated evenly. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes for the flavors to meld.

Bake: Place the salmon in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. If you prefer a slightly crispier top, you can broil the salmon for the last 2-3 minutes.

Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven and garnish the salmon with lemon slices and fresh dill. Serve immediately with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
