1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1/4 cup chia seeds

1 small apple, peeled and finely diced

2 tablespoons maple syrup (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of salt

Optional toppings: sliced apples, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, or a dollop of yogurt

Instructions
 

In a medium bowl, combine the almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk together until the chia seeds are evenly distributed.

    Add the diced apple to the mixture and stir to combine.

      Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results, allowing the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and swell.
