1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1 bell pepper (red or yellow), sliced into thin strips

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup sugar snap peas

3 green onions, sliced (whites and greens separated)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece ginger, minced or grated

2 tablespoons sesame oil

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced flank steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Toss to coat evenly and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

    Prepare Your Veggies: While the beef marinates, wash and cut the bell pepper, broccoli, sugar snap peas, and green onions. Make sure everything is prepped and ready for fast cooking.

      Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over high heat until shimmering.

        Cook the Beef: Add the marinated beef to the hot skillet in a single layer. Let it sear without stirring for about 1-2 minutes until browned, then stir-fry for another 2 minutes until just cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
